My name is Paula Marie. I’m a Wife, Mom of 5,
and a Woman who is rewriting her wellness story on her terms.

For decades, I relentlessly pursued conventional wellness, both professionally & personally. So, I understand the struggle to keep up with the never-ending trends and conflicting advice from countless so-called gurus. It’s a costly and confusing path to navigate, and I wouldn’t be surprised if their end goal is to leave us confused and overwhelmed in the first place, so we have no choice but to keep coming back for more.

We must ask ourselves…

how are the one-size-fits-all, half-baked fixes, yo-yo dieting, and constant confusion helping us achieve well-being and lasting longevity?

And, if it will eventually bring us back to where we started and, let’s be honest, a few pounds heavier, what’s the point?

I get it – the wellness journey can be confusing, especially when bombarded by the $404 trillion-dollar industry that often forgets about your true well-being. You've tried it all – from superfoods to boutique gym memberships – yet the physical pain remains, you feel sluggish even on your best days, and you don't know how to nourish your body in a way that makes you feel good anymore.

But here's the thing: your confusion and frustration are not a reflection of your failure but rather the result of a system not designed to meet your needs

We may all share a similar physical body, but each of us has unique needs to achieve balance and well-being.

I created the Ditch the Dogma podcast to give voice to a new narrative inviting women to do wellness differently and to share their stories and insights. From women like you and me to professionals who've taken a stand against guruship, we are starting conversations that ditch conventional dogma and encourage women of all ages to become lifelong seekers of well-being.

We join forces to disrupt the wellness narrative that does way more harm than good.

Together, we can help lift the confidence and self-esteem of all women, so they can think more critically [for themselves] as they slowly step into this new journey. A journey that focuses on seeking joyful energy, abundant creativity, and a newfound balance based on wholeness.
